Sustainability is more than just a word for us at Pinolino. It is reflected in everything we do every day. We want to use our resources responsibly and contribute to climate protection. Our focus is on integrating sustainability into our core business in terms of ecological, economic and social aspects.

Responsibility

We take responsibility. Because sustainability means respecting the environment, people and, above all, our children. As a member of the BSCI Code of Conduct, we live and support the improvement of working conditions and the protection of human rights when selecting our suppliers. This enables us to ensure that our values and goals are adhered to throughout the entire production process. We want to protect our oceans and our environment from the vast amounts of plastic waste. That's why many of our products are completely plastic-free or have a very low plastic content. We also support the non-profit initiative "Cleanwave.org". Thanks to the high-quality stainless steel Cleanwave bottles and our water treatment system, it is already easy for us to take care of the environment in our day-to-day work. Because responsible treatment of people and the environment is particularly important to us.

Resources

We develop, manufacture and sell children's furniture, accessories and toys for the next generation. That's why we are already thinking about tomorrow today and are committed to the conservative use of our valuable habitats when sourcing wood. We have been FSC®-certified (FSC-C120795) as a company since 2014. The FSC® trademark is awarded to products that come from well-managed forests. Forest management is based on the strict environmental protection standards of the FSC® and takes into account high social and economic standards. We attach great importance to this certification out of conviction, which is why you can already find many Pinolino products with the FSC® seal. Energy

The environment concerns us all, which is why we have already taken many measures to act energy-consciously in our day-to-day work. This includes small actions such as switching to energy-saving LEDs, saving electricity and thoughtful heating, but also larger contributions such as the photovoltaic system that has adorned our roof since 2011. It is also important to us to minimize CO2 consumption for raw materials, production and shipping. We also pay attention to our environment when we are on the road and are proud that a large part of our vehicle fleet already consists of hybrid vehicles and is being supplemented by more and more electric vehicles.

Longevity

Pinolino products should accompany you for a long time, because that is our understanding of a sustainable children's room. That's why our furniture grows with you and a small conversion turns a crib into a children's sofa in no time at all. In order to give you a long product lifespan, we also offer you spare parts, because after all, anyone can lose screws when moving house and a repair or small replacement is always better for the environment. We also attach great importance to the quality of our toys and children's furniture being produced to such a high standard that they will outlast several children and even generations and you can enjoy them for a long time. When manufacturing our toys and children's furniture, we use various tests and test procedures to ensure that our products are safe for your child's health. All Pinolino products can therefore be explored with all the senses without hesitation, because we all know that toys can easily end up in the mouth. During product development, we make sure that your child can give free rein to their creativity without you having to worry about pinched fingers or other injuries. You can see what this looks like with our children's grill Jeff, for example, where a small gap protects little fingers when closing the hood.
